English Faculty October Pupils of the Month

 

Mrs Hutchison - Ethan Welsh 1R1 

For consistent efforts towards written work and his valuable contributions to class discussions. 

 

Mr Buchan - S4A5  - Amy Watt  

 Amy's perseverance in the face of her difficulties with extended writing, particularly the critical essay and the folio, have shown true strength of character. Amy has shown real determination in tackling head on what she struggles with and should see this as already a real achievement 

 

Miss Richards - Neviah Cochrane 4B3 

For her continued effort in working towards the Nat 5 prelims. I've seen a real amount of effort put in and it really shows in her classwork. 

 

Mr Waller - Maisie Storrar 3B1 

Maisie has shown a clear determination to succeed in Nat 5 English. When preparing for her Nat 5 prelim her attitude and approach to revision was exemplary. If Maisie continues to show the same determination and conscientious attitude, I am certain she will go on to succeed. 

 

Miss Mcinnes - ​ ​Gracie Lyle - 2K2  

For consistent hard work and positive attitude towards English during Term 1. 

 

Mr Grierson -  Lexie Fyfe -  1L2.  

She consistently comes to class with a "can do" attitude, contributes ideas in class discussions, and works hard every lesson. 

 

Mrs Hunter – Lucy Thomson – 3B2 

Consistently trying her best in every task we have completed in term one. 

 

Mr Thom - Ciaran Stewart - S1ENGR2 

For always trying really hard in lessons, being focussed and supporting others in the class. 

 

Miss Armour  - Tiegan Howard - HIE 

She has such a positive attitude and is clearly trying her very best ensuring homework is completed on time, her notes are neat and up to date, and her effort in classwork is very good. 

 

Miss Downie - Alfie Cameron - 2R2 

He has been super this past term, volunteering to read, answering when questioned, and applying himself to every task in class. 

 

Mrs McKeever – Marnie Forbes – 1K2
